Starting right now, until election dayWe'll come to you!
Don't let canvassing spook you! In the next 3 weeks, we will knock on about 3,000 doors! We need your help. This year, we're doing flexible canvassing. You tell us when you'd like to get a list and literature, we'll bring it to you; grab a friend and knock on doors when it suits your schedule. Go at your own speed. If you need a canvassing buddy, we can find one for you. (It's good to have someone who talks with voters and someone who enters info into the MiniVan app. You could also add a dedicated driver to your canvassing team.) To sign up, write to us through the Volunteer page. Don't sit in your kitchen lamenting the increasingly awful and deranged actions of this administration. While there is opportunity, in the next three weeks, muster that little bit of extra courage and bring in more votes for all our excellent Democratic candidates.

Be a Poll Greeter during Early Voting!
Cornelius Town Hall
Be a friendly, welcoming poll greeter, distributing blue ballots to voters. Urge everyone to vote to the very bottom of the ballot. This is especially important with the judicial races. People are reluctant to vote for a name without any reference point. The Blue Ballot gives them that point of reference.

Meet at 5:15 PM for parade line-up, then stroll to the Village Green from 5:30-6:00 PM before the 6:00 PM Concert on the Green. Participants are encouraged to wear red, white and blue as well as their hat for democracy from the ice-cream social.

You'll learn how to use the minivan canvassing app, we'll cover a few basic scenarios, and then we'll do some actual canvassing in our own neighborhood, pairing up inexperienced folks with experienced canvassers.
