We believe politics should be personal, social, and uplifting. We strive to be aspirational, not adversarial. Everyone within our community is welcome and valued.
In election season, we do everything possible to support Democratic candidates at every level. Outside of election season, we focus on affordable housing, environmental justice, education, and protecting vulnerable members of our community.
Our long-term goal: chip away at Republican majorities in the NC General Assembly and retake a Democratic majority on the NC Supreme Court by 2028 — ensuring fair maps after the 2030 census.

Meet at 5:15 PM for parade line-up, then stroll to the Village Green from 5:30-6:00 PM before the 6:00 PM Concert on the Green. Participants are encouraged to wear red, white and blue as well as their hat for democracy from the ice-cream social.
